Posting Configuration Control Work Permits for components that DO have engineered controls: Labyrinths and Mini-hutches

Labyrinths and mini-hutches are beamline engineered systems designed to be manually opened and closed. Consequently, their operation is not considered as “work” under the APS RSS policy ( 1-1304 ). Shutter control inhibit when opening a labyrinth or mini-hutch must be accomplished using administrative key control by Floor Coordinators to ensure proper adherence to radiation safety considerations. The Configuration Control Work Permit (CCWP) is used as the administrative document to record this control.
