Virtual Town Hall on APSU High-Energy X-ray Microscope (HEXM) Construction at 20-ID

The Advanced Photon Source (APS) will hold a virtual town hall for users interested in the project to construct the High-Energy X-ray Microscope (HEXM) feature beamline at 20-ID in the Long Beamline Building, currently under construction. The town hall runs from 10 am to 12 noon CDT on Monday, October 25, 2021.

Presentations at the town hall will cover the timing and scope of the HEXM construction, and the new capabilities at HEXM and at 1-ID that will be available to high-energy x-ray users after the APS Upgrade is complete. There will be a Q&A session to field any questions from town hall attendees.

Please register for the virtual town hall by sending an email message to HEXMTownHall@anl.gov including your name, affiliation, citizenship, and email address. Please include “HEXM Town Hall” in the subject line of your email. You will receive an email response that includes the final agenda and a link to use to connect to the meeting. Registration deadline is October 18.
