1. You may use the chainfall hoists located in the experimental stations at the APS only with training from the APS and authorization from your Beamline host.
2. The required training course for APS Chainfall Hoists is ESH436.  This is a web-based training course.  See the link below.

If you need help lifting or moving heavy objects, the APS can provide the services of professional riggers. Ask your beamline host to make these arrangements for you.
