The commissioning of the new LT-SXSTM V3 system has been started during its inaugural beamtime in April 2015. This new system has been designed for operation at cryogenic temperatures. It consists of a preparation chamber, an STM chamber that houses the low-temperature microscope, and a vacuum suitcase that allows transfer of samples during beamtime.
