The 12th International Conference on X-Ray Microscopy was held in Melbourne from 26 to 31 October 2014. XRM 2014 was the twelfth international conference in a dynamic series that started in Göttingen, Germany in 1983, and has travelled the globe bringing together experts in the development and use of x-ray microscopes. Volker Rose presented the talk “Chemical Imaging of Nanostructures by Synchrotron X-ray Scanning Tunneling Microscopy” in the special session ‘Novel Approaches’. The next XRM conference will take place in Oxford, UK, in 2016. It will be organized by the Diamond Light Source.
