SOICHI WAKATSUKI

Research interests: Dr. Wakatsuki's research focuses on structural biology of intracellular protein transport and post-translational modification using protein X-ray crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering along with biochemical and other biophysical methods. In addition, he develops technologies crucial for synchrotron protein X-ray crystallography including beam line instrumentation, robotics, automation and other experimental techniques.

Positions: Professor of Photon Science at SLAC. Professor of Structural Biology, Stanford School of Medicine.

Term: February 2008 - November 2014
