As a frequent user of the APS over the past 13+ years, I feel I have a knowledgeable perspective from which to advocate for the interests of the user community. In the coming years, the APS will face an increasing challenge to remain a world-leading facility as new third-generation synchrotrons and other advanced photon sources come online. If elected to the APSUO, I will seek to ensure that the interests and concerns of the user community are heard as efforts are made to enhance and upgrade the capabilities at the APS to meet this challenge.
