Abstract:

In this seminar, I will primarily present the design and development of the two highly modular, integrated and automated experimental stations for the x-ray-based protein crystallographic FMX and AMX Beamlines at NSLS-II and discuss how we overcame some technical and spatial challenges.  I will also present new developments on the advanced spectroscopy beamline that I am currently working on at SLAC.  Finally, I will briefly describe the automatic SRF cavity tuning system for linear accelerators that I developed at Fermilab.
