| Private Wellness Rooms |

The APS can offer you the use of a locked, private room while you are on site. There are three rooms located in or near the Advanced Photon Source; Bldg. 401 (the main APS building), Bldg. 440 (the Center for Nanoscale Materials), and Bldg. 446 (the Advanced Protein Characterization Facility). Please see the map for details including amenities available in each room (e.g., chair, sofa, refrigerator, sink). The APS User Office ([email protected]) is happy to arrange for your use of these spaces during your visit. |
| Can I bring an infant or child or other companion on site at Argonne? |

Because Argonne is a controlled access facility, access permissions cannot be granted for babies or traveling companions or spouses to stay on site. Typically, users with breastfeeding infants will stay offsite with a spouse or helper, and we grant the spouse/helper a carpooling gate pass to enable them to drop off the baby for nursing. |

The Argonne Child Development Center is a child care facility near the Laboratory (on Cass Avenue about 1 mile from the main gate but not on the Lab grounds).
