Pilatus
The Pilatus 100K is a single photon counting hybrid pixel detector with 172 micron pixels, > 2 x 106 count rate with a 300 micron thick Silcon sensor.The Detector Pool has two units available for plus one unit on long-term loan from ASD.

Pixirad-1
Pixirad-1 is CdTe (650 microns thick) based photon counting pixel detector with 60 micron pixels on a hexagonal pattern. It has 512 x 476 pixels (i.e., 31 x 25 mm2). The detector also has two thresholds for multienergy measurements.

Scint-X CCD

Scint-X CCD Detector has special structured scintillator (micromachined silicon pores filled to CsI) from Scint-X which is designed to have better spatial resolution than a standard columnar grown CsI at high-energies. It uses a 1:1 Fiber Optic Plate designed to absorb high-energy x-rays from hitting the CCD. The specs on the scintillator are: Pore spacing: 25.7 microns (hex structure); Scintillator layer thickness: 200-225 microns; Silicon substrate thickness: 500 microns; MTF: typically 40% at 10 lp/mm. The detector active area is 36 x 24 mm. The system is described in this paper from Scint-X (pdf).

Mar 165 CCD
The Mar165 has a 165 mm diameter detector head containing a 61 mm x 61 mm CCD sensor with 80 micron pixels at the phosphor and a frame rate ~ 0.5 Hz.The Detector Pool has three units available for loan.

  The Lambda Si 250k from X-spectrum is a medipix3 based pixel array detector with 55 micron pixel size (512 x 512). Currently operates at 500 Hz and will upgraded to 2,000 Hz soon

The Perkin-Elmer aSi is an amorphous silicon flat panel detector with the sensor and electronics housed in one device.It has 200 micron pixels, 2048 x 2048.Readout times range from 33-133 ms. The useful energy range is > 20 keV.Available for loan, the Detector Pool has one unit with an aluminum window and one unit with a carbon fiber window.

GE aSi Flat Panel
The Ge-aSi is an amorphous silicon flat panel detector useful in the > 50 keV range.It has 200 um pixels, 2048 x 2048.Readout times range from 23-125 ms, depending on image size.The Detector Pool has one item available for loan. Sector 1 has 4 dedicated detectors (i.e., the Hydra).
