Abstract:

PITEC produces Large Area Detectors in Brazil, with solutions for 2.4M and 9.6M running at 2000fps vacuum ready. PIMEGA is a family of hybrid detectors based on semiconductor pixel sensor assembled over Medipix3RX ASICs. The PITEC team will give an overview of their software architecture and provide an online demo of the small detector. PIMEGA detectors are used in materials science experiments that are carried out in synchrotron light source particle accelerators. SIRIUS, the largest and most complex Brazilian scientific project in Brazil, is the main user of PIMEGA today. The website is located at: https://www.pitec.co/products/.
