Abstract:
The combination of fast, affordable 3D laser scanners and 3D CAD software has brought hardware reverse engineering into the mainstream. AES Design & Drafting group will demonstrate using a point-and-shoot HandySCAN 700 3-D scanner to turn an existing piece of hardware into a solid model.
