Abstract:

Inrad Optics, with engineering and production based in Northvale, NJ provides customized optical products for the R&D, materials analysis, X-ray spectroscopy and laser markets.  For over 20 years Inrad Optics has developed high precision fabrication techniques for X-ray focusing optics.   Utilizing thin bent crystals including silicon, quartz and germanium that are optically contacted to spherical and toroidal backplanes, these X-ray monochromators are able to provide spot sizes < 5 microns at high flux rates.  Inrad Optics X-ray monochromators are the XPS industry standard for surface and material analysis.
