Description

Over the last 5 years, the use of Beryllium lenses for focusing of synchrotron radiation have become more and more used. The lenses are easy to work with and less sensitive to vibrations and alignment than traditional focusing mirrors. JJ X-Ray have installed several different types of systems used in white, pink or monochromatic beams. The presentation will give an overview of the different possibilities an advises on where to optimally position the lens systems. Examples from APS, NSLS-II, SSRF and European-XFEL will be presented.
