Hero Text

Modern electronics generate waste heat that can degrade performance or cause fires. Thermally conducting polymers are widely used to dissipate heat. Unfortunately, the polymers themselves are not very conductive. Scientists using the Advanced Photon Source have found a method to improve thermal conductivity by using fillers rife with defects.
