The MycG4-nucleolin complex is a highly attractive target for drugs that can stabilize and lengthen its life. Now a team of scientists using the Advanced Photon Source has solved the first structure of nucleolin bound to MycG4. Their findings represent a major step in rational drug design for anticancer agents, as well as a model for DNA-protein interactions.
