The Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory, in collaboration with National Science Foundation’s Synchrotron Earth and Environmental Science (SEES), is organizing an in-person three-day school on CONUSS and PHOENIX software. The Nuclear Resonant Scattering (NRS) techniques and related beamline capabilities will be introduced at the school. Extensive hands-on training on spectra interpretation using the software will be conducted by their author, Dr. Wolfgang Sturhahn. The school is a great opportunity for students and early career scientists to learn about the techniques and the software, to explore their applications, and foster collaborations.
