The CHEX sector is intended to support a wide range of diffraction especially for complicated instruments such as in-situ growth systems and large vacuum chambers with specialized equipment. This includes such things as MBE, MOCVD and Pulsed Laser Deposition. In addition it contains larger general purpose diffractometers that can support user supplied in-situ chambers and general purpose diffaction experiments.
