The 12-ID-B beamline is dedicated to SAXS including simultaneous SAXS/WAXS, GISAXS, and time-resolved SAXS for both solids and solutions. The beamline is equipped with furnaces, oven, gas and liquid flow systems, Linkam stages, and home-made multisample heater. Horizontal and vertical mirrors with 2 sets of slits deliver photons higher than 1E12 in the size of beam about 200 (H) x 40(V) um^2. The beam size can be slitted down to the size of about 10x10 um^2 if needed.

Software
12-ID-B uses Linux workstation running SPEC and EPICS applications. Data acquisition can be done as fast as 30 frames/second. At about 4m sample to detector distance, the q range is about 0.002 ~ 0.5 /A from SAXS detector and 0.7 ~ 2.6/A from WAXS detector that is off centered. Data reduction will be done automatically without requiring user interruption. Data viewer and analysis tools are built on Matlab or Igor frame.
