Oops, so this is a problem with the SDDS make files?
Strange thing is I was able to compile it in 10.4 without much
difficulty...

I checked the config files and they are both fine - pointing to /
usr/X11R6. I did see they don't support Mac Port though, since
openmotif is coming from /sw/include and /sw/lib which is Fink.

Were you are to successfully build SDDS on your 10.5?

There are multiple problems here. First it should not be linking to
Xpm in the first place on Darwin. And second it is only looking in /
usr/lib for the the Xpm library.
