Now the build fails trying to build tooLong.st. The build log
is at

If I remove "PROD += tooLong" from test/validate/Makefile, the
build completes successfully. The build log for this is at
<https://www.imca.aps.anl.gov/~jlmuir/tmp/seq-2.0.13-rc2-build-r1.txt>.
The host was running RHEL 5.6 and the GCC version was "4.1.2
20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-50)".
