Jim,
There is "unreleased" support for the 300 series in use
at the APS (XOR 8-ID). They are using the PS350. Let me
know if you want to try it.
The support is asyn/streams based.
I have found the GPIB interface to these devices a bit flacky and
required that the GPIB controller be in 'timeout mode' for it to be
reliable. The result was a very slow (2 times sec) update rate.
SRS insisted that there is not a know problem with the unit (shrug).

RE: Update rate...2 Hz was a typo...each message takes 300ms, so a full
update (3
messages) takes a little short of a second.
