Hello all,

We have a variety of Siemens S7-300 and S7-400 PLCs that we need to integrate in to EPICS.  I'm wondering if anyone has any information on where to begin.  Ideally, we would like to talk S7 to them but failing that could probably settle for Profibus-DP.  From the IOC side of things, we have a Siemens PCI card CP-5613 for communicating with the PLCs.

As you might have guessed, I'm new to researching EPICS-type info. and somewhat green with Profibus in general.

Any pointers, comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.
