Thanks.  I'll leave simmTest for Ralph.

Known issue / unrelated / harmless.

As Andrew already pointed out a few days ago, the current simmTest is making assumptions on thread scheduling inside the IOC. E.g., it assumes that waiting is enough to have another thread scheduled. This does not work as expected on all target platforms.
I have started to change the test to use semaphores to ensure ordering of things across threads. (Status: somewhere mid-air on my work computer far far away.)
