How to use Archiver Appliance to archive PVs of only the latest period of time |

Dear all,
We would like to deploy another Archiver Appliance in the office network to archive about 5000 PVs published from the control network. In order to save storage space, we just want to archive PVs of the latest one month (the requirement may be adjusted to three or six months in future) and delete the out-of-date data.
I am wondering how to achieve this requirement using Archiver Appliance,
a) Is there any property or policy to configure?
b) Can it be done with Python script?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
