Hi Bill,

I haven't used the Xycom 9660 with a TIP-810 myself so it's
difficult for me to diagnose the problem.

I'll send you a newer version of the Xycom 9660 code which has
been modified for use with RTEMS under 3.14 by Stephanie Allison at SLAC.
It should also work under vxWorks. Please give that a go.

Do you know if the code is hanging in the 9660 driver or in the
TIP-810 driver or device support? Does the TIP-810 use interrupts,
if so, that might be a place to look?

If you are getting through the calls to:
ipacAddCarrier &xy9660, "<base addr>"
and the "create" call for the TIP-810 I guess you are,
at least, finding the card at your base address.

I think the way I'd debug this is by putting in some printf's in
the Xycom-9660/TIP-810 driver and TIP-810 device support functions
and see where it gets to before hanging.

I'll be interested to hear what you find!

Cheers,

Andy
