Subject: Display Manager Problem

All,

We have noticed an inconsistancy with values displayed by the display manager (dm).

We have an application which requires a number of dm displays to be shown on a single
terminal, a number of the displays may show the same data.

It has been noticed that although the links for the different displays are to exactly
the same records, the displays often show different values.

On closer inspection it appears that the errors occur when a display is started,
at this time the new monitor does not return the same value as a display already active,
even though the active display is showing the correct value, consequently, unless the value
monitored changes then the two displays will be reporting different values forever more.

If a monitored value does change then it appears that all displays are updated correctly.

Has anybody noticed this same problem, or is it specific to our application/setup ?

Or, has anyone a solution to this, or suggestions as to where to start ?

Thanks

Paul Martin
