Subject: Helium Purity Sensors

Hi All,

 

A non-epics question, but I hope there’s some advice out there:

 

Has anyone done any helium purity monitoring into a PLC or into an IOC? We are interested in some sensor recommendations and reports of experience in doing this.

 

We are keen to use 4- 20 mA type sensor into a plc to control a valve to either capture or discard the helium. We are interested in sourcing around 9 sensors and want to keep costs to a reasonable.
