Irrelevant. You hit reply button, my mail client still sees the References
header that your mail client has silently added to the mail because it is a
reply to some previous message, regardless of subject line. Therefore message
gets sorts into the old thread. To start a new thread hit button labeled 'new
message'.

I think I explained that on this list before. So did Andrew, and a few others,
at various times in the past.
