Paul,
It was probably me who responded on this a couple of years ago.
We still support CAMAC serial Highway and can still manufacture and/or
maintain our VHD 2992 modules.
You can replace the MVME CPU and keep the 2992.

We have a PCI bus SHD 5992 serial highway driver card that has a Windows WDM
driver and ESONE/DOE subroutine support. Currently no EPICS support but not
impossible.

We still support a surprising number of CAMAC users.
