Hello all, 

After big earthquake followed by tsunami on March 11 (Fri) in Japan, 
we have received many warm mails. Thank you very much. 
Let me show our status in short report. 

- None of us injured, for both KEK and J-PARC. 

- [J-PARC] J-PARC control room is located near the ocean. We escaped 
  immediately after the earthquake. No tsunami reached there. 

- KEK Web and Mail systems were down on Friday, but restarted already 
by Tuesday. 

- KEK staff is requested to stay at home this week, because electricity 
and water supply at KEK (Tsukuba) is limited. J-PARC (Tokai) site is 
closed yet. Thus, not much information on accelerator damage is known.
