Yes, it looks like the axis code in StripTool might need major changes.  I am looking at the code now to
see what needs to be done.

By far the best solution is indeed to compile a 32-bit version (one way or another). It will run perfectly on a 64-bit machine.

I was poking at this a while ago, and managed to fix the crash on toggling buttons, but I never found a way to correct the gross mishandling of the axes.

Unfortunately it seems that further development of this tool is thoroughly stalled.

1) Striptool version 2.5.10.0 with Epics Base version 3.14.11. On the striptool graph window, right click and select toggle buttons option. If you do it one or more times, the strip toll is getting crashed. Following is the crash message.

/.../linux-x86_64/engMenu_startStripTool: line 76: 13044 Segmentation fault StripTool ${configurationDir}/${fileName}

2) Striptool version 2.5.12.0 with Epics Base version 3.14.11. On the striptool graph window, right click and select control option and immediately the striptool crashes. Following are the log messages.

==== StripTool Xt Warning Handler ====
warning: Axis: minVal is greater than or equal to maxVal

If there are any solutions for the above problems, please let me know.
