Going through another piece of EPICS documentation I found reference to
a "Channel Access Client Library Tutorial, R3.13". I then scoured
through the EPICS web site at APS to try and find this to no avail.
With a little help from our friend Google, I tracked this down at
http://lansce.lanl.gov/EPICSdata/ca/client/caX5Ftutor-1.html
This is a document put together by Phillip Stanley at LANL, probably for
a training course.
From the Google search on the EPICS web page this did not turn up
indicating that there may not be a reference to this.
This seems to be a handy description of Channel access from the HOWTO
standpoint. It would be a shame for this to get lost in time. Please
take a look and see if this should be added somewhere in the
documentation references.
