Going through another piece of EPICS documentation I found reference
to a "Channel Access Client Library Tutorial, R3.13".
It would be a shame for this to get lost in time.
Agreed.
Most of the web pages accessible from
http://lansce.lanl.gov/EPICSdata/epics.htm come from FrameMaker files
on a very old Solaris machine. They include CapFast and DM
documents. The web server system manager once deleted the files and,
at our insistence, later recovered them from backups.
I've looked for a way to convert the FrameMaker files to Word format
(without spending money) with no success. I just realized that
OpenOffice (and Word) can handle HTML fairly reasonably. I hope to
eventually package all these files in Word and PDF format files so
they can be more easily perused (and recovered).
