Greetings,
I'm converting some applications from 3.13 to 3.14.8 that used the "vxWorks Variable" device type. I don't see any
reference to symbDev in 3.14. Where did it go? Should I convert the dev/symbDev or has there been a "slicker" solution?

The devSymb support is available for 3.14, although it will only work on vxWorks. There's a link to the documentation on the EPICS website under Modules -> APS Modules -> vxWorks Global Symbol Device Support and the code can be found on the Download -> Modules page as VxWorks Symbol support.
