I have an ADC record that contains 32 waveforms.
I would like to create 32 waveform records that when addressed will
indeed access the data from the first record.

In other words, I have an ADC with 32 inputs.
The 32 inputs are sampled at the same rate and are therefore
linked/related. I created a record that reads the ADC on-board memory
and populates the ADC record.

This record could be named iocname:ADC:adcID

Now, I would like to create 32 independent waveform records such as 
iocname:ADC:adcID:pinNumber that will be a copy of one of the 32
waveform records.

How would you do that ? Does such a soft record already exist?
