Yes. We are working on it. BUT the progress is very very slow.
This summer we have tested the control system over SSL. It
uses the control system other than EPICS. I hope we can go forward
to "EPICS secure gateway" based on this experience.
We plan to replace "CA client library" to utilize SSL. So it will NOT
affect gateway software much.
We also need to enhance access control mechanism over ASG. At the moment
I'm not sure how much modification will be required for gateway
software. We would like to minimize impact on gateway software as little
as possible.

I'm very glad hearing it. Hopefully it will speedup our effort to
realize "Secure Gateway". At least, it encourages us for the development.
