Hi Geoff,
I've built 3.14.7 with a version of cygwin that was updated in the last month.
What versions of gcc andd g++ are you running under cygwin?

Hi,
When building for cygwin-x86 I ran into two errors, semi-colons that
were not expected by the compiler. I built epics in the 3.14.7
directory and compared it to base-3.14.7 which is right out of the
distribution file.
diff -r 3.14.7/src/libCom/osi/epicsThread.cpp
base-3.14.7/src/libCom/osi/epicsTh
read.cpp
32c32
< void epicsThreadRunable::show ( unsigned int ) const {}
---
> void epicsThreadRunable::show ( unsigned int ) const {};
Only in 3.14.7/src/libCom/test: O.cygwin-x86
diff -r 3.14.7/src/libCom/test/epicsListTest.cpp
base-3.14.7/src/libCom/test/epi
csListTest.cpp

< }

I installed cygwin, epics base v3.14.7, set EPICS_HOST_ARCH to
cygwin-x86, and did a gmake cygwin-x86. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Geoff
