Hallo Andrei,
this is a nice little finger excercise before breakfirst:
1. Detector has slow module, for example high voltage module, and ADC
digitizer module.
So I have two records (as minimum). SCAN field of ADC record is "I/O
Intr".
Situation is next. Operator changes voltage setting record of High
Voltage module.
ADC should wait until potential will be set. How can I do it?
You could do it in a similar way as Nr2, if you get any bit or something
if the slow HV has reached its set value
2. Detector has amplifier with gain and ADC digitizer module.

Situation is next. Operator can change gain during ADC is doing
measurement (for example,
ADC should take 200 samples, gain was changed on 100 samples). How can I
"freeze" gain?

Now gain can be set whenever by the operator, but it is written to the
hardware allways at the time, the ADC has finished its sample
Also I can find Record Reference Manual for Epics 3.13.7. Is there more
new manual?
