Subject: Retrieve network connection info through EPICS ?

I'm looking for a way to make IP connection info on VxWorks (such as shown
by inetstatShow) available through EPICS.

I thinking about using a subroutine record, or maybe special device support
for the stringin record.

Has anyone done something like this ?
