Stephen,

We have here at Gemini 2 versions of EPICS:
 - one working with VxWorks 5.2 : epics3.12.2GEM5
 - a new one (from last spring), working with tornado1.0.1/vxworks5.3 :
epics3.12.2GEM6T. This version is set up only for the PPC board for the
moment.

We can complete this version to work with the two targets 68k and ppc and
make it available for you. 
  
Then you do not have to worry about your vxworks5.3 68k bsp.
