The answer is "I don't know." Popup windows are handled by Motif
and are not under the control of MEDM. Also, they work correctly for
me when running on the same Solaris 5.5.1 (aka 2.5.1) and displaying
on my Windows 95 PC with the Exceed X Server (or on Solaris). The
WIN32 version also works correctly displaying on Exceed or on the
remote Solaris. This is hard to debug because it isn't my code doing
it, because Motif grabs the server (making debugging difficult), and
because it doesn't happen for me. Suggestions will be considered.
A detailed set of steps that I can follow to reproduce the
problem and a description of just what happens for you would be
useful. I am assuming by "popup menus" you mean the Execute-mode menu
(with Print, Close, etc.) and things like the Related Display.
