I have done this using the .db file. Something like
the following shell pipeline seems to do the
trick (at least it works on Solaris) :
grep 'record(' file.db | cut -d'"' -f2 | sort | uniq -d
The output is a list of any any duplicate record
names. No doubt there are many variations on the
same theme.
