I'm attempting to use the widget builder tool that comes with IDL ('wided'). 

Everything works great until I try to write a '.pro' file - at that point the
tool churns for a bit and then prints a dialog saying "unable to write .pro 
file". Not a very descriptive error message. Any ideas?
