This is a note reporting progress on replacing default.dctsdr with
all ascii files.

Documentation is available via www explaining this project (under epics
work in progress).

For this note let me just state that the following has been done.

1) Conversion tools have been written to convert an existing default.dctsdr
   file to the new ascii formats
2) lex/yacc based code has been written to read the new ascii formats.
3) dbStatic library has been modified for new way of handling database.
4) free_gdct (unmodified) has been relinked with new code and run.
    IT WORKS!!!!

Next step is the start on tools to generate c headers and other code needed
for ioc. Then ioccore changes have to be made. I estimate about 1 man month
of effort is needed to do everything except tcl/tk replacement for dct.
However, I must now spend some time on things I have been ignoring so that
I could make progress on this project.
