Just to remind all core developers and anyone else with an interest that I'll 
be making the first pre-release version of Base 3.14.12.2 next Monday, 
November 14th.  Please check the bug-tracker and try to fix problems in your 
areas of responsibility before then.  This is a bug-fix release though, so no 
significant new functionality should be added, although support for new target 
architectures is generally OK.
