Career Framework at Argonne Argonne uses a "career framework" for all regular, non-union employees. The career framework has four different elements, which when combined define an employee’s career and compensation opportunities at the Laboratory.
Career Descriptor Forms Links to worksheets that provide a framework for documenting how a new position should be classified and that can be used to help evaluate an employee’s eligibility for promotion.
Career Level Guide Charts In Argonne’s Career Framework, there are multiple steps within a career structure and career role based on five common factors: Scope/Knowledge, Problem Complexity, Freedom to Act, Impact, and Interaction.
