Hi all,
if anyone is interested, here at Legnaro we developed a motor record
device support for the Beckhoff KL2541.
It is a stepper motor driver with up to 5A/ph.
The device support is compliant with motor record APIs, even though we
choose to keep it as a separate module, following the idea to have a
single motorCore and individual modules for the various drivers. Let me
know if it you would like to add it to the motor record repository.
We tested it with EPICS base 3.14.12.5 and motor record R6-9 on Ubuntu.
It requires modbus version 2.8 or newer and asyn. Please feel free to
report any issue or improvement.
