Hi All,

Thanks for all your responses.

We have found that we can use the APC PDUs with a standard cord length but now we face another challenge and that is that the B version of the desired PDU (like AP7900B [1]) has updated firmware .

Does anybody have EPICS support for this model/FW?

Thanks,

Žiga

Hi Ziga,

We're using snmp to control PDU's from Leviton, iBootBar, and Sentry via EPICS.

Hi,
few months ago I developed an EPICS IOC for ATEN PDU
(PE8208 - metered and switched) using SNMP device support
module (https://groups.nscl.msu.edu/controls/files/devSnmp.html);

Hi All,

We are looking for alternative to APC switched PDUs as we would like to have cord longer than standard APC length of 12 feet. http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/Rack-PDU-Switched-1U-15A-100-120V-8-5-15/P-AP7900B

I have checked the EPICS modules page and I have found several other options with existing support, but they all look a bit outdated (based on part numbers on the page and cross-referencing them with current vendor part numbers).

Are there other switched PDUs with EPICS support in use besides APC?

Thanks,

Žiga
