I am running 4.3.3-SNAPSHOT.  I implemented the changes you made and appear to be able to manipulate PVs.  Thank you.

Iain.

Hi,

Which version of cs-studio product are you working with? You can find this information under Help -> About

From cs-studio 4.2 onward the configuration of the connection layer is no longer only in the PV configuration page. (We have fixed this in the newer version of cs-studio 4.4 onwards)

In the 4.2-4.3 versions of cs-studio, the configuration of all the ca and pva configuration are under

edit->preferences->core->diirt

here is an example setup for configuring default datasource and channelaccess.

Subject: PVs disconnected in CSS BOY despite access through caget

I am attempting to get a transferred EPICS project working.  The IOC proper seems to be working, and I can access PVs through caget.  However, when I try to access those PVs through CSS BOY, the PVs are all label "Disconnected", including the push buttons.  What might be causing this?

Thank you,

Iain.
